By accessing or using MultiBMS ("the App"), provided by SJP Apps ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the App.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use MultiBMS for its intended purpose: monitoring battery management systems via Bluetooth Low Energy. This license is for your personal use only.

IMPORTANT: Lithium batteries and other battery chemistries can be dangerous if mishandled, improperly charged, or improperly monitored. MultiBMS is a monitoring and informational tool only. It is NOT a safety device, battery management system, or battery protection circuit. You must always:

SJP Apps is not responsible for any injury, property damage, fire, or other harm resulting from battery-related incidents, whether or not MultiBMS was in use at the time.

5. Data Accuracy

MultiBMS displays data as received from your battery management system hardware via Bluetooth. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data displayed. BLE communication may be subject to interference, latency, or disconnection. Always verify critical readings with independent measurement equipment.

6. Intellectual Property

MultiBMS, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is the property of SJP Apps and is protected by intellectual property laws. The SJP Apps and MultiBMS names, logos, and trademarks may not be used without our prior written consent.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT BMS DATA WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE. THE APP IS NOT A CERTIFIED SAFETY DEVICE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SJP APPS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP. THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, FIRE, OR EQUIPMENT DAMAGE RELATED TO BATTERY SYSTEMS, WHETHER OR NOT THE APP DISPLAYED INACCURATE DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SJP Apps from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or any battery-related incidents connected to your use of the App.

We may suspend or terminate your access to MultiBMS at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your license to use the App ceases immediately. You may also terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the App.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located within the State of Florida.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be reflected in the updated Terms available on our website with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
