Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using GateLeap ("the App"), provided by SJP Apps ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the App.
2. License Grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use GateLeap for its intended purpose: purchasing event tickets, making campground bookings, and managing event entry. This license applies to both ticket purchasers and event organizers using the platform.
3. Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems, servers, or other users' accounts
- Forge, duplicate, or tamper with QR codes or ticket data
- Resell tickets purchased through GateLeap in violation of event organizer policies or applicable scalping laws
- Submit false or misleading information when making purchases or bookings
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to purchase tickets or interact with the App
4. Ticket Purchases and Bookings
All ticket purchases and campground bookings made through GateLeap are subject to the specific terms and conditions set by the event organizer. Refund and cancellation policies are determined by the event organizer and will be displayed at the time of purchase. SJP Apps acts as a platform provider and is not the organizer, promoter, or operator of any event listed on GateLeap.
5. Payment Processing
All payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By making a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. SJP Apps does not store your payment card information. We are not responsible for errors or failures in payment processing by Stripe.
6. Event Organizer Responsibilities
If you use GateLeap as an event organizer, you are solely responsible for the accuracy of your event listings, pricing, and fulfillment of your obligations to ticket holders. You agree to honor all valid tickets and bookings processed through the platform.
7. Intellectual Property
GateLeap, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is the property of SJP Apps and is protected by intellectual property laws. The SJP Apps and GateLeap names, logos, and trademarks may not be used without our prior written consent.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE QUALITY, SAFETY, OR LEGALITY OF ANY EVENT LISTED ON THE PLATFORM.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SJP APPS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP. SJP APPS IS NOT LIABLE FOR THE ACTIONS, OMISSIONS, OR NEGLIGENCE OF EVENT ORGANIZERS, VENUES, OR OTHER THIRD PARTIES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (EXCLUDING AMOUNTS PAID TO EVENT ORGANIZERS) IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SJP Apps from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your interaction with event organizers or other users.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to GateLeap at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your license to use the App ceases immediately. Existing valid tickets and bookings will be honored regardless of account status. You may also terminate your use at any time by deleting your account and uninstalling the App.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located within the State of Florida.
13. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the App and updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
