SJP Apps ("we," "us," or "our") operates GateLeap, a ticketing and campground booking platform available on iOS, Android, and the Web. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use GateLeap.

Customer Information

When you purchase tickets or make a booking, we collect your name, email address, and booking details (event name, dates, campground selection, ticket type, and quantity).

Payment Information

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Your credit card number, billing address, and other payment details are collected and processed directly by Stripe. QR Code and Ticket Data

GateLeap generates QR codes for tickets. When event staff scan QR codes at the gate using the app's camera, the scan data is used solely to validate ticket authenticity and check-in status.

Location Data (Optional)

GateLeap may request location access to help you find nearby events or navigate campground maps. Location data is optional and is not stored or transmitted to our servers.

Device Information

We collect basic device information necessary for push notification delivery, including device type and push notification tokens.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To process ticket purchases and campground bookings
• To generate and validate QR code tickets
• To send booking confirmations, event updates, and reminders via push notifications and email
• To provide customer support related to your bookings
• To display nearby events if you opt in to location services

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising purposes. We do not use any third-party advertising services. Your data may be shared only in the following circumstances:

• Stripe: Your payment information is shared with Stripe solely for payment processing.
• Event Organizers: Your name and booking details are shared with the event organizer for the event you purchased tickets to, for the purpose of event management and check-in.
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to respond to valid legal processes.

5. Permissions

• Camera: Used by event staff to scan QR codes on tickets at the gate. Not used for any other purpose.
• Location (Optional): Used to find nearby events. Not stored or transmitted. Can be disabled in device settings.
• Push Notifications: Used to send booking confirmations and event reminders. Can be disabled in device settings.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information. All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe in accordance with PCI DSS standards.

7. Data Retention

We retain your booking and ticket data for the duration necessary to fulfill your booking and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping and customer support. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

8. Your Rights

9. Children's Privacy

GateLeap is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Ticket purchases must be made by an adult.
