Account Information
When you create a CrewDash account, we collect your name, email address, and profile information. You may optionally upload a profile photo using your device's camera.
Location Data
CrewDash uses your device's location services to provide real-time crew tracking during events. GPS coordinates are collected while the app is in use during active events. You may disable location services at any time through your device settings, though this will limit crew tracking functionality.
Crew and Event Data
We collect and store crew schedules, show data, event information, and messages exchanged through the platform.
LoRa Communication Data
If you use CrewDash with LoRa mesh radio hardware, communication data is transmitted over the LoRa network. All LoRa communications are encrypted using AES-256 encryption.
Device Information
We collect basic device information necessary for push notification delivery and app functionality, including device type, operating system version, and push notification tokens.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide crew scheduling, coordination, and real-time tracking during events
- To enable messaging and communication between crew members
- To send push notifications about schedule changes, messages, and event updates
- To sync your data across devices via cloud services
- To facilitate LoRa mesh radio communication between crew members
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored and synced using Google Firebase cloud services. All communications within CrewDash are protected with AES-256 encryption. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. We do not use any third-party analytics or advertising services. Your data may be shared only in the following circumstances:
- With other crew members within your organization as necessary for crew coordination
- With Firebase (Google) for cloud storage and synchronization services
- When required by law or to respond to valid legal processes
6. Permissions
- Location: Used for real-time crew tracking during events. Can be disabled in device settings.
- Camera: Used solely for capturing profile photos. No images are collected without your action.
- Push Notifications: Used to deliver schedule updates, messages, and event alerts. Can be disabled in device settings.
- Internet: Required for real-time data synchronization and cloud connectivity.
- Bluetooth/LoRa: Used for LoRa mesh radio hardware communication where applicable.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account and event data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
